Peach Bellini Twists
I know it’s fall and I should feel like baking all the things but right now I’m just so very, very tired. So it’s a good thing I stumbled across this recipe. It requires minimal effort and basically two ingredients and who could possibly complain about that.
If pie crust is your jam, you’ve come to the right place.
Now I know what you’re thinking. How did I get champagne into those little jam straws? Well, I didn’t. It’s all Trader Joe’s and their ridiculously genius idea of making peach bellini jam. I know right? WHAT WILL THEY THINK OF NEXT.
As you can see, this recipe starts off pretty easy with a basic pice crust. I follow the recipe my momma told me which is actually her grandmothers who probably got it from her grandmother but who even knows anymore.
Roll it out into something resembling a rectangle and top generously with jam. Yes, it’s really that easy.
The rest is pretty self explanatory. Fold the pie crust over, slice into strips, and then twist. I psrinkled a little salt on at the end for flavor but you do you. Bake and then enjoy. But keep an eye out because these go fast.
Here’s to the smells of autumn once again filling the kitchen and to all things cozy and homemade. It’s really how we live our best life. Cheers!
